Hello, Cleveland: POWER Has Arrived

Cleveland, we’re officially here. Power Home Remodeling (“POWER”) has opened its newest location in the Cleveland area, marking our 28th territory nationwide and third in Ohio, following Columbus and Cincinnati.

Our new 29,250-square-foot office and warehouse in Brook Park will serve homeowners throughout Cleveland and surrounding communities with a full suite of exterior solutions, including windows, roofing, siding, gutters, doors, and attic insulation.

“Our expansion into Cleveland builds on the momentum we’ve created in Ohio since opening our Columbus and Cincinnati territories last year,” said POWER Chief Operating Officer Timothy Wenhold. “With so many established homes throughout the region, we see a real opportunity to partner with homeowners to invest in and modernize the places they already love, while also building lasting relationships with local installers and the Cleveland community.”

But opening a new POWER territory takes more than an office, products, and a moving truck. It starts with the people building it.

Meet the team leading POWER Cleveland

Leading the Cleveland territory are John Kennedy, vice president of Customer Development; Trevor Colazzo, vice president of Sales; and Nicholas DeGrazia, vice president of Delivery. Each brings years of experience from across POWER.

Kennedy previously helped launch POWER’s Austin and Pittsburgh territories. Colazzo began his career in Customer Development before moving into Sales and later taking on a leadership role in Pittsburgh. DeGrazia has experience across Customer Development, installation, Delivery, and Project Services and previously helped launch POWER’s Columbus territory.

Together, they’ll lead the team bringing POWER’s exterior remodeling experience to Cleveland homeowners.

So, what exactly is a POWER Original?

When POWER enters a new market, experienced employees from across the company can apply to become “Originals”— the launch team responsible for helping establish the territory from the ground up.

Originals relocate to the new market, help welcome and mentor future employees, and work alongside local installation partners as the territory grows.

For Cleveland, 24 POWER employees made the move. And before their first official day, we gave them a chance to get to know the city they’d soon call home.

Discovering Cleveland before opening day

POWER’s Discovery Weekend brings Originals and their loved ones together in a new territory before the official opening. It’s part city introduction, part team bonding, and now, part community service.

The Cleveland crew explored the city, including a visit to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and spent time volunteering with Hope Ignites Cleveland–a nonprofit supporting young people through mentorship, education, and college and career preparation. The team helped prepare for upcoming programming and daily operations, while POWER donated $25,000to support a wilderness retreat for graduating students.

“We launched the volunteer portion of Discovery Weekend earlier this year ahead of our Raleigh opening, and it quickly showed us how meaningful it can be to connect our people with the communities they’re joining from day one,” said Jim Myers, director of Community Impact at POWER. “We’re grateful to have made this part of our expansion process as POWER continues to grow nationally. It’s another way we can live our purpose of realizing the potential in every home, person, and community we serve.”

The weekend also gave a brand-new team time to become exactly that: a team.

“It was such a fun way to break the ice with a brand new team,” said Cleveland Original Tabitha Brittingham. “Instead of awkward small talk, people naturally started collaborating, cheering each other on, and solving challenges together.”

Kennedy left the weekend feeling equally confident about the group: “I was confident that the team was a group of all-stars, but Discovery Weekend really secured that.”

What’s next for POWER in Cleveland?

Now, the real work begins. POWER will begin serving Cleveland-area homeowners while continuing to grow its local team, work with local installation partners, and build relationships throughout the community.

Twenty-eight territories down, and Cleveland’s story is just getting started.
