Power Home Remodeling Employees Donate A Record-Breaking $2.85 Million for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation

Press Release Power Home Remodeling Employees Donate A Record-Breaking $2.85 Million for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation

POWER’s summer-long fundraising initiative supports families impacted by childhood cancer, all part of company’s employee-led POWER for Good Initiative

CHESTER, Pa., August 21, 2025 — Power Home Remodeling (“POWER”), the nation’s largest, full-service exterior home remodeler, announced that employees across the country have raised $2.85 million in donations for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) — a record-breaking donation that will help fund childhood cancer research.

In 2024, the home remodeling company raised $2.26 million during their “Summer of Alex’s” fundraising initiative for the nonprofit dedicated to finding cures for childhood cancer. This year, POWER employees surpassed that number on day one of the summer-long initiative, hitting $2.28 million. The total donation was entirely raised by employees of their own volition through payroll contributions, auctions, and employee engagement events throughout the summer.

“The dedication and generosity that our people have demonstrated year-after-year is not only deeply inspiring, it has been life-changing for children and families impacted by childhood cancer,” said POWER’s President and Co-Founder, Adam Kaliner. “This sustained commitment is because ALSF has fundamentally shaped who we are as an organization, and who we are as individuals. While we are proud of the progress we’ve pushed forward over the past 14 years, our POWER community will never stop fighting until we find a cure.”

Since the inception of the partnership in 2011, POWER’s total contributions to ALSF have now surpassed more than $12.71 million. All donations go towards the company’s “Power The Cure” fund, which supports various ALSF innovative therapy grants that take a novel and promising approach to finding cures for childhood cancers. The “Power The Cure” Fund will help hundreds of children – many with their last chance of survival – be able to enroll in the most innovative and targeted treatments available.

“POWER employees continue to go above and beyond each year in their support of ALSF. Their dedication and commitment shines through the donations they make, the awareness they bring to the cause and the support they show families,” said Liz Scott, Co-Executive Director of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation & Alex’s Mom. “We are so grateful to have a partner like POWER that exemplifies a company truly committed to making a difference for children fighting cancer.”

About Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of 4-year-old Alexandra “Alex” Scott, who was fighting cancer and wanted to raise money to find cures for all children with cancer. By the time Alex passed away at the age of 8, she had raised $1 million. Since then, the Foundation bearing her name has evolved into a worldwide fundraising movement and the largest independent childhood cancer charity in the U.S. ALSF is a leader in funding pediatric research projects across the globe and providing programs to families affected by childhood cancer.
