• June is Alex’s Month

This past June marked our second annual "Power month for Alex's". Among the most memorable months of the year for our organization, more than 1,300 employees dedicated themselves to raising money for this incredible cause. From lemonade stands in each of our 16 offices and more in neighborhoods across 13 states to a Power sponsored golf outing, 5K run, employee payroll donations, a telethon and much more, we were able to raise more than $100,000 to help eliminate childhood cancer! The fight isn't over yet. Find out how you can get involved right now by contacting our ALSF program manager!

  • 2nd Annual Alex’s Lemonade Golf Outing

Coming together from across the country, Power employees enjoyed a family picnic and a day of golf while raising an incredible $15,000 for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) in the fight against childhood cancer. This newest contribution has enabled Power to raise more than $100,000 for ALSF in 2013. An incredible accomplishment realized solely by the donations of our employees, we are truly thankful and humbled to have such a committed and selfless staff.

  • CBS 3 ALSF Telethon

Power employees donated their time to work the phones and help raise funds at this year's CBS 3 ALSF Telethon. Towards the end of the telethon, Power Co-Founders Jeff and Adam Kaliner pitched in with a big contribution that helped get ALSF over the $1 million dollar mark!

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation

263,000 children are diagnosed with cancer each year. We lose 250 each day.

Power is privileged to be a national corporate sponsor of a charity that is doing all they can to prevent the spread of this disease. A charity founded by a 5 year old hero named Alex, who succumbed to the disease at the age of 8. Although she did not get the chance to see what kind of impression she made on this world, she would be thrilled to know she has helped to raise more than $60 million for childhood cancer research.

Where do donations go?

Power donations, as well as donations from our customers go to:

- Fund more than 300 research grants at 78 medical institutions in 32 states
- Fund investigations of 23 types of new childhood cancers by ALSF researchers
- Helping families travel for treatment in terms of lodging, flight assistance, gas and other necessities

To date, Power is proud to have raised more than $350,000 for ALSF. But it’s simply not enough. Join us each June and every month throughout the year until we help ALSF researches find a cure!
