  • June is Alex’s Month

This June marked our fifth annual "Power Month for Alex's." Among the most memorable experiences of the year, more than 1,650 employees from 16 states across the country dedicated themselves to raising awareness and collecting donations for this tremendous cause. From hosting lemonade stands and bake sales, to sponsored golf outings and lemon runs, we put everything we have into helping Alex's eradicate childhood cancer.

If you're interested in learning more about ALSF, want to volunteer, or are looking to donate, please contact our ALSF team or donate directly from this page.

  • 3rd Annual Alex’s Lemonade Golf Outing

Coming together from across the country, over 200 Power employees enjoyed a family picnic and a day of golf while continuing their fund raising effort for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF). To date, Power has been able to raise over $750,000 in the fight against childhood cancer.

Prior to the golf outing, Power CEO Corey Schiller spoke to the crowd, saying, “The Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation has been seamlessly woven into the fabric of this organization. They have become part of our DNA and because of that we do everything we can, as often as we can, to raise awareness and donations to fund necessary research. This success of events like this charity golf outing showcase how dedicated our employees are to supporting this cause."

  • 8th Annual Alex Scott: Stand For Hope Phone Bank

For the past three years, Team Power has worked the phones Alex Scott: Stand For Hope Phone Bank. At this year's telethon, Power was able to contribute over $100,000 - pushing the day's tally to $2,010,461 in total! Watch as Power CEO Corey Schiller presents our $50,000 donation check...and then doubles the amount on the spot! A huge thanks to all of our generous employees whose personal contributions made this donation possible.

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation

263,000 children are diagnosed with cancer each year. We lose 250 each day.

Power is privileged to be a national corporate sponsor of a charity that is doing all they can to prevent the spread of this disease. A charity founded by a 4 year old hero named Alex, who succumbed to the disease at the age of 8. Although she did not get the chance to see what kind of impression she made on this world, she would be thrilled to know she has helped to raise more than $100 million for childhood cancer research.

To date, Power is proud to have raised more than $750,000 for ALSF. But it’s simply not enough.  In 2016, our goal is to eclipse the $1 million mark in donations to ALSF - join us each June and every month throughout the year until we help ALSF researchers find a cure for pediatric cancer.

‘Make Lemonade’ Social Impact Campaign:

To increase awareness for Alex’s and help raise funds, we’re embarking on a social impact campaign titled “Make Lemonade.” Every person we interact with, from the woman in front of us at the supermarket to the school bus driver to the waiter, is dealing with their own “lemons.” We may not know it, or be able to see it, but the lemons are there. Each day, we have an opportunity to take those lemons and “make lemonade.”

Every Power community will be doing just that through random acts of kindness. Alex Scott, founder of ALSF, proved that one person can make a difference - imagine what we can do together.

How will you make lemonade?
