Mental Health Awareness Month: How POWER Supports Mental Wellness

Culture Mental Health Awareness Month: How POWER Supports Mental Wellness

One in five U.S. adults suffer from mental health conditions, according to the National Institute of Health. POWER, the nation’s largest exterior home remodeler and a people-first business, is committed to supporting employees not just during Mental Health Awareness Month, but all year long.

Read on to learn how POWER, an improvement company inside and out, supports mental wellness.

24/7 Telemedicine

Teledoc, available directly through POWER’s insurance provider, allows employees to skip the waiting rooms and access a board-certified, licensed doctor from the comfort of their couch. Anyone enrolled in a POWER medical plan has full access to this service. With Teledoc, doctors can assist with non-emergency medical conditions, including anxiety, PTSD, and depression.

Prescription Coverage

The SmithRx Connect program can help employees save money if they choose medication as part of their mental health treatment. All employees enrolled in a POWER Medical Plan can utilize SmithRx to receive a lower, or even $0, copays.

Power Aid: Financial Support During Hardships

Unexpected financial emergencies can derail even the most careful planners. Power Aid offers employees who’ve been at POWER for at least a year and make under $150,000 financial help during some of those “how am I going to pay for this?” moments.

Therapy Support

While numerous therapists and psychiatrists are covered by POWER’s medical plans, we recognize that some providers may not accept insurance, or employees may have existing out-of-network treatment. In those instances, POWER employees can submit sessions to count toward their deductible. Once the deductible has been met, 50% of the visit cost will be covered for up to 24 sessions per year.

Community + Wellness Initiatives

POWER is more than just a place to work, it’s a community. Our commitment to mental health extends beyond health benefits through initiatives such as:
