Power Named As a Top Workplace for Millennials For Second Straight Year

Power Home Remodeling, the nation’s second largest exterior home remodeler, has once again been named one of the top 10 companies in the country on Fortune’s 100 Best Workplaces for Millennials in 2016. Based on surveys of more than 88,000 millennials at more than 600 companies, Power earned the No. 6 spot on the second annual list for its stimulating culture, supportive and positive environment and personal growth opportunities for its employees.

“At Power we firmly believe that the ability to attract and retain mission-driven millennials directly impacts our success. Quite simply, our people are our secret weapon,” said Asher Raphael, Power’s Co-Chief Executive Officer. “With millennials comprising more than 86 percent of Power’s current employee base, I know firsthand what motivates and drives them — they aren’t just financially ambitious but are also looking to join an organization where they can make an impact on the world. We remain committed to delivering a culture that gives them something to believe in and where they can have a sense of purpose in everything they do and be the best version of themselves.”

Power continues to be nationally recognized as a top workplace in the country, demonstrated by several recent rankings, including Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For in the U.S., Fortune’s No. 1 Best Workplace for Camaraderie, and earlier this month, Power’s Co-CEOs held the No. 25 spot on Glassdoor’s Highest Rated CEO list for the second consecutive year.

Power employees are provided with ongoing opportunities for growth in the form of leadership conferences across the country, frequent opportunities to meet and socialize with senior leadership and a personal mentor to help guide them to achieve more. Power’s inclusive social program filled with can’t-miss events and an annual company-paid trip to Mexico also gives employees a chance to develop a lasting camaraderie with their colleagues to bring their experience full circle. Already in 2016, employees heard from Wayne Gretzky at a recent leadership conference and attended the NCAA Final Four. Additionally, as a further testament to Power’s commitment to millennials, the company recently launched the Power Veterans Initiative — a one-of-its-kind program that provides hundreds of job opportunities specifically for millennial military veterans returning home with a focus to change the national veteran narrative from one of distress to one of pride by spotlighting veterans’ leadership skills and commitment to a shared mission.

“There are more similarities than differences when it comes to what different generations want in a great workplace,” says Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work®. “Our research shows that company pride, a sense of community and competent, ethical leadership can bring Millennials, Gen Xers and Baby Boomers together for a great, high-performing workplace.”

Power Home Remodeling Co-CEOs Named Highest Rated CEOs for Second Consecutive Year

Power Home Remodeling’s Co-Chief Executive Officers and Partners, Corey Schiller and Asher Raphael, have been recognized on Glassdoor’s Highest Rated CEO list for the second consecutive year. Glassdoor released its annual ranking highlighting the Highest Rated CEOs, this year recognizing top leaders in countries throughout North America and parts of Europe. Among CEOs recognized in the U.S. at large companies, Power’s Co-CEOs ranked #25 and received an impressive 94 percent approval rating based on the anonymous and voluntary reviews that Power’s employees shared on Glassdoor throughout the past year.

“This ranking is one that we’re particularly proud of because it’s based on candid feedback from our employees. Their devotion to Power continues to amaze me,” said Asher Raphael, Power’s Co-Chief Executive Officer. “We remain steadfast in our mission to create an unparalleled workplace culture and invest heavily in our people, because nothing is more important to us than keeping our employees happy.”

CEO approval ratings are gathered through Glassdoor’s online company review survey, which seeks to gain current and former employee sentiment about job and company satisfaction, the work environment and the culture.

“The Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Awards honor CEOs that stand out for having gained the support and approval of their workforce — no easy task for any leader,” said Robert Hohman, Glassdoor chief executive officer and co-founder. “I am proud to expand these awards to new markets as incredible leaders are found around the world and are not limited by boundaries or borders.
